Digital Voice User Guide

Below you will find how to use the most common features of Planet’s digital voice lines. If you need assistance, please contact our technical support team at 862-300-3150 or support@planet.net.

Accessing your voicemail:

  1. Dial *97

  2. Enter the pin: 2580

Forwarding calls to a cell phone:

  1. Dial *72[NUM], where [NUM] is the cell phone number you would like calls forwarded to

  2. Dial *73 to turn off call forwarding

Changing the Voicemail PIN:

  1. Dial *97.

  2. Enter your PIN and press “#”. The default PIN for new users is “2580.”

  3. Press “0” for mailbox options.

  4. Press “5” to choose “change PIN.”

  5. Enter a new 4-digit PIN number

Changing the Voicemail Message:

  1. Dial *97.

  2. Enter your PIN and press “#”. The default PIN for new users is “2580.”

  3. Press “0” for mailbox options.

  4. Press “1” to choose “record unavailable message” Follow the prompt to record a new voicemail message.

Call Blocking:

  1. Dial *92 [Number to be blocked]

  2. Dial *93 [Number to be unblocked]


Note: If you have multiple Digital Voice numbers this has to be done on each line you want to block or unblock a number

Remote Voicemail Access:

To access your voicemail remotely, please first call our support team at 862-300-3100 to enable this feature. Once enabled, you can call your number from a cell phone and once the voicemail greeting starts playing, press the * key, then enter your PIN number as you normally would.
